OMG, I really needed that!

Przez ostatnie dwa tygodnie miałam ferie zimowe. Wydawałoby się idylla. Jednak ja, zamiast zwolnić weszłam na wyższe obroty. Z dwójką dzieci w domu... no cóż... bądźmy szczerzy, to nie odpoczynek!
I zostałam sama, w ciszy... Postanowiłam to wykorzystać.

For the last two weeks I've been having a winter break. You might say idyll. But me, instead of slowing down, I picked up the pace. With two kiddos on board...well... let's be honest, it ain't rest! There's lots of playing around, noise and a thousandfold calling "Momma!.
And today, quite unexpectedly, I managed to find a moment just for myself. Wojtek decided to stay over at his grandparents' "on vacation", my hubby also left and Maja was napping. And Ifound myself alone in total silence... and decided to take advantage of it. A hot bath, beauty treatments, my fave movie on the screen and a cup of delicious jasmine tea in hand. OMG, how I needed that.
In the everyday rush I forget to stop and think about myself, to do something which seemingly I can manage without somehow. It's hard to lay back when your mind is occupied with a long checklist to do. But sometimes it's just a must-do since you might go crazy without it. I love Saturday noons... They happen to be lovely.
