Us Mums!

Bycie mamą to przygoda życia!

On the occasion of Mother's Day, I would like to focus on us, dear moms, mothers and mommas! You are probably lying on the couch today, being served and calm, lol. But let's get back to reality for a moment and talk about our everyday life.

For me it looks like this, I get up in the morning and the ride, which ends in the evening, begins. In the meantime, I work, plan, work out the intricacies of text tasks (hahahaha), cook, feed, at times pretend to listen, wash, cook again, laugh, make a plan for the evening (which hardly ever comes off), pick up stuff from the floor , get pissed off, clean the kitchen, teach to brush teeth and clean ears ... etc. I do have moments when I feel I'm a great mom (especially when my kids whisper it in my ear), but there are also times when I feel I completely fail in this role and that I'm hopeless .... Because I forgot, because I got upset, because I didn't know. But then I remind myself and them that I'm only human and that I make mistakes, which I'm able to admit to.

The role of a mom can be overwhelming at times. Us moms bear a great responsibility. We need to be strong and at least seem collected even when we are shaken inside. It ain't easy, eh ...

However, all of this is rewarded with unconditional love. When I look at my children, I'm overwhelmed with pride, when they amaze me with their thoughts, tenderness, and curiosity about the world. I'm glad I can show them the world and explain how it works. I'd like to prepare them for the cruelties of this world, for the nastiness of people, for all their future failures .... But I know they have to live their own lives, deal with all this themselves ... And finally, I would like to learn to accept their choices, their decisions ... I think I might have problems with that in the future, hehe.

Being a mom is an adventure of a lifetime! But remember, girls, that your kids will fly out of the nest one day, and we will be left alone with ourselves (maybe not only with ourselves, lol). That's why it is worth having something that is only ours, just for us, because we're still separate individuals who think, feel and have our own personalities!

Beautiful Mother's Day to all of us!
