Before you make any decisions when it comes to your interiors, you need to know what you like. You should know which interior design style you reflects your lifestyle and which appeals to you taste. That's why, today I'd like to show you the choice you have.
Styl ten charakteryzuje wszystko, co kojarzy się z morzem, plażą i słońcem. Podstawowa paleta kolorów to granat, wszelkie odcienie niebieskiego, biel, beż. Jeśli chodzi o materiały to naturalne tkaniny np. lniane, wskazane są elementy z naturalnego drewna, rattan, wiklina. Wnętrza są jasne, przytulne i ciepłe. Spójrzcie na zdjęcia, zdecydujcie czy to jest to!
This style comprises of anything that reminds you of the sea, beach and sun. The basic color palette is navy, all shades of blue, white and beige. When it comes to the materials we should incorporate linens, natural wood, rattan and wicker. The interiors are light, comfy and cozy. Take a look at the pics and make up your mind!
Jest to styl, który charakteryzuje się bogactwem faktur, materiałów i wielością dodatków. Meble są najczęściej drewniane, często rzeźbione. Jeśli chodzi o bogactwo materiałów, to można je zauważyć w ciężkich zasłonach, miękkich dywanach, puchatych poduszkach i wygodnych, dużych sofach. This style's main features are the abundance of textures, fabrics and accessories. The furniture is mostly wooden, often ornamental. There are lots of fabrics on curtains, rugs, soft cuchions and comfy large sofas. Amongst the accessories we can find opulent picture frames (most often in gold color), decorative candle sticks, lamps and flowers. Is this you style?
Styl współczesny nie oznacza nowoczesny. Wnętrza w tym stylu są jasne, przestronne, ale jednocześnie ciepłe, w stonowanej palecie kolorystycznej, w której kolory idealnie do siebie pasują. Meble są raczej proste, wykonane z dobrej jakości materiałów - drewna czy metalu. Sofy maja proste kształty, są duże i wygodne. Całości dopełniają dodatki w postaci subtelnego oświetlenia, kwiatów, dużych roślin, ozdobnych ścian itd.
Contemporary doesn't mean modern. Contemporary interiors are light, airy but at the same time warm, in a calm palette of complimentary colors. Furniture is rather simple but made of good quality materials - wood or metal. Sofas have simple shapes, they're large and comfortable. Details which make the wow-effect are subtle lighting, flowers, big plants, decorative walls, etc.

Nadałam mu taką nazwę, jednak chodzi tu przede wszystkim o dwa trendy w urządzaniu wnętrz, od lat dość popularne. Pierwszy z nich to styl orientalny (azjatycki), drugi marokański. Jak nietrudno się domyślić, królują tutaj wszelkie pamiątki z dalekich podróży, jak również charakterystyczne elementy architektoniczne tych odległych miejsc. Łukowate okna, ceramika, ażurowe ścianki, kolorowe materiały itd. Rzadko kto ma ochotę na przebywanie w dosłownej replice chaty z pustyni, dlatego w stylu tym chodzi przede wszystkim o przeniesienie pewnych charakterystycznych elementów na grunt naszego własnego kąta.
I called this style "traveler's", but it refers to two interior design styles which are quite popular. One of them - Asian and the other is Morrocan. Obviously, these two styles incorporate all the souvenirs from very-far-aways, but also some of the architectural features characteristic of the distant places. Arches, ceramics, openwork walls, colorful fabrics, etc. It might be difficult to live in a desert-hut replica, that's why here it means that you should use some of the elements of this style in your own apartment.
I tu przechodzimy do sedna i jednocześnie jednego z moich ulubionych stylów. Styl eklektyczny, a więc łączący w sobie elementy z różnych stylów, charakteryzuje się wielością dodatków, kolorów, często elementów, które na pierwszy rzut oka do siebie nie pasują.
And this is how we got to the core and one of my fave styles. Eclectic style combines elements from different styles and is known for a great number of colors, accessories, items which might seem very odd at first.

Styl współczesny nie oznacza nowoczesny. Wnętrza w tym stylu są jasne, przestronne, ale jednocześnie ciepłe, w stonowanej palecie kolorystycznej, w której kolory idealnie do siebie pasują. Meble są raczej proste, wykonane z dobrej jakości materiałów - drewna czy metalu. Sofy maja proste kształty, są duże i wygodne. Całości dopełniają dodatki w postaci subtelnego oświetlenia, kwiatów, dużych roślin, ozdobnych ścian itd.

Styl wiejski to styl pełen naturalnego drewna, ceglanych ścian, naturalnych materiałów (często w kratę). Eksponuje się sprzęty codziennego użytku np. na otwartych półkach. Podlogi są drewniane lub z terakoty, na sufitach często widoczne są drewniane belki. Wnętrza są bardzo przytulne.
Country style is full of natural wood, brick walls and natural fabrics (very often checked). The homeware items are very often exposed on open shelves. The floors are hardwood oraz terracotta, on the ceilings we often see wooden beams. The interiors are very cozy.
